Events 2007 Annual Alumnae Game TBA The Waltham Volleyball Alumnae Club invites all former and current WHS Girls Volleyball Team players to attend its annual Alumnae Game. The Connors Gym will open its doors at to former players later this season with an exact date TBA. This proud tradition allows former Hawk greats to take on the current stars, who are off to a tremendous start. Please contact Coach Murphy or Alumni Club Director Stephanie DeAlmedia if you can attend. Alumnae Tickets for 2007 Team Banquet Coming Soon The coaching staff hopes to have a date and location for the 2007 Waltham Volleyball Team Banquet by late October for the event sometime in November. As always, we encourage and invite Alumnae to attend. Watch the site for details. Alumnae News 2005 Highlights Waltham Volleyball Alumni Club Hosts 1st Annual Alumni Games Restoring a long tradition of former Ladyhawk players coming home to play the current teams, the Alumnae Club launched its first official Alumnae Games on Saturday, October 29th and Friday, November 25th last year. We would like to thank all of those who showed up to play including; Coach Karen Murphy, Coach Bernadette Trenholm, Alumni Club Assistant Director Stephanie DeAlmedia, Lynne Gillis, Vanessa Vega, Nicole Landry, Danielle DiLorenzo, Kelly Grimes, Amanda Grimes, Sara Walsh, Kim Bouvis and Michelle Ryan. The snow outside during the October game made this fall tradition seem a bit out of season, but the players didn't seem to mind.
Alumnae Club Mission In 2004, Waltham Volleyball created an Alumnae Club to help support the current team, our Booster Club and to get former players back in touch with their high school teammates. During the 2005 and 2006 seasons we saw many alumnae return to watch games, visit us during practices and attend special alumnae events. Watch the site for information on events or contact us to get involved for the 2007 season.
